We all know that I love to use a little booze in my cooking – especially bourbon and whiskey. Here’s my twist on the traditional baked brie recipe – with only 5 ingredients you can whip this up after work for a last-minute invitation. Here is our Recipe for Whiskey Walnut Baked Brie!
You can use a wedge or a round chunk of brie – I have a little baking dish that is the perfect size for a wedge.

Whiskey Walnut Baked Brie
- 1 wedge or round of brie
- 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. whiskey
Preheat oven to 350º.
Melt your butter in a sauce pan on the stovetop over medium-high heat. Add the brown sugar and whiskey and bring to a boil. Decrease heat and stir until it thickens up a little bit. Add chopped walnuts and remove from heat.
Place your brie in an oven-proof dish and bake for about 5 minutes, until soft and a little gooey.
Spoon the whiskey walnut mixture over the brie immediately after it comes out of the oven. Serve with crackers or french bread.
