I have been so fortunate in this job of mine to find myself surrounded with great friends and colleagues also on their entrepreneurial journey. These guys and gals have all sorts of titles – wedding florist, architect, blogger, marketing guru – but we all share a common role of “business owner”. With this authority comes great reward AND a need to take a break once in a while. Which is just what we did a few weeks ago!
In partnership with our friends at Married In Milwaukee and Filament, we hosted a tailgate party for our colleagues and customers at a Brewers day game. The weather was great and the Brewers actually won! Everyone seemed to enjoy the company and the food. In short, it was a great day.
Tall Guy and a Grill was happy to cater this party. We grilled our classic grass-fed beef burgers and Vietnamese chicken sausages. We also whipped up our traditional slaw and our signature baked beans. Additionally, we introduced a new pasta salad made with nectarines, zucchini and a basil lime dressing. This new dish was a hit, and it’s soon to become part of our regular menu.
We had fun showing off the new Tall Guy Van and standing out in the parking lot! Everyone was happy to check out for a few hours, do a little networking, and enjoy a gorgeous summer day in Milwaukee.
Have you gone to any Brewers games this year? Will you make time for one more tailgate this fall?
