The holidays are all about tradition, and at Tall Guy we’re going to do our best to keep it that way – even in a year that has been anything but traditional. Our Thanksgiving menu is here, filled with delicious comfort food that will keep the spirit of the season alive for your gathering.
We realize that the size of your get-together might be different this year, which is why we’ve got options that will work for however many people you’re serving.
Maybe you want to select from our prix-fixe menu (pictured), which gives you a choice of one of our main dishes (half-pound per serving), along with a salad and three sides. New this year on our salad menu is the Root Cellar Smoked Beet, which is topped with a personal favorite of mine, our maple bourbon vinaigrette. Each meal also comes with gravy made from scratch, pretzel rolls and butter.
Or you can choose from a broader variety of options by going a la carte. There’s plenty of turkey, of course (including the kind we smoke in-house with hickory wood chips), as well as ham, beef brisket, prime rib, and rack of lamb. You can get a quarter pan ($25) or half pan ($45) of our sides, and then top it all off with one of our pies ($20), where your choices are Salted Caramel Pecan, Cranberry Apple with Toasted Almond Streusel, or Pumpkin Cheesecake.
If you’re wondering about how much to order based on the size of your gathering, we’ve got good rules of thumb for you available on our menu page.
You can give us a call (414-777-0770) or go online to order. All orders need to be placed by noon on Friday, Nov. 20. Pickup will be from noon to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving. When ordering online, you can select your pickup time, and also decide whether to do curbside pickup or come in our store at 6735 W. Lincoln Ave., in West Allis.
For those that have ordered or plan to order, you’ll be entered into a special drawing where 10 lucky people winners could receive Two bottles of Tall Guy BBQ sauce OR a Tall Guy Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.
It means a lot to be able to serve you at this special time of year. Despite all the curve balls that 2020 has thrown our way, all of us at Tall Guy still feel like we have so much to be thankful for. We wish you a safe and happy holiday season and hope we can help you celebrate.
