Today is the big day. In stores starting today, you can try out one (or all) of the three finalists in Lay’s “Do Us a Flavor” contest! Finalists included Chicken & Waffles, Cheesy Garlic Bread, and Sriracha. These three were whittled down from 3.8 million submissions. Some of the non-winning entries included Steak & Eggs, Pepperoni Pizza, Barbecue Porkchops, and Jack Cheese. We’d like to know some of the absolutely off the wall ideas…
We might have to vote for Cheesy Garlic Bread without even tasting it, because the contestant is from Wisconsin! Karen Weber-Mendham of Land O’Lakes got the idea for this chip from her family’s love of eating cheesy garlic bread when they go out for pizza. Our kind of lady. However, we’re also intrigued by the Chicken and Waffles. Good as a meal, how will they be as a chip? And you know we have to give anything remotely southern a chance:)
