Tall Guy knows you can host your wedding just about anywhere. Over the years, our team has catered weddings that were held at famous breweries, rustic barns, historic mansions, museums, and even the Urban Ecology Center. But as coffee lovers ourselves, we were pretty excited for Ellen and Luke’s big day to be held at Walker’s Point’s best café and roastery: Anodyne Coffee.
In our opinion, this Anodyne location happens to have some of the best ambiance and vintage details. Not to mention, the perfect corner for Ellen and Luke’s Farm Stand and Fruit and Veggie Station. So, coffee lovers, check out this beautiful space for your next event or wedding! Now, onto the food.
We Bet We Can Make You A “Salad Lover”
We know – this is a bold statement. But just check out this Caprese Salad we put together for Luke and Ellen. The cherry tomatoes, basil, and fresh greens are at the peak of their season so they were bursting with flavor. Fresh and local ingredients really do make a difference, so we made sure to use BelGioioso‘s mozzarella on top, too.
(Almost) Everyone Loves Pasta
It’s true. Luke and Ellen wanted to offer a dinner for their guests that had variety and could make everyone happy. We even accommodated several gluten-free guests so that their dinner was equally amazing.
For pasta options, the couple went with Mama Mucci’s Garlic and Parsley Linguine and Potato Gnocchi. Wedding guests were able to choose between our meaty Bolognese sauce, classic Alfredo, or Basil Pesto Sauce.
Once guests got their pasta fix, next were plenty of seasonal vegetable sides including:
- Oven-Roasted Asparagus with Fresh Lemon
- Oven-Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Acorn Squash, and Red Bell Peppers
Bringing the whole meal together was, of course, Fresh Baked Rolls and an entrée we are pretty excited to offer: Grilled Chicken Breast Stuffed with Crumbled Goat Cheese, Asparagus, and Mushrooms.
Wondering why the Grilled Chicken Breast was such a hit? Besides the savory vegetables stuffed inside, the chicken is vegetarian fed and free-range, which adds to the flavor of this dish.
Always Save Room For Dessert
Last but not least, Ellen and Luke made sure there was not one, but three different flavors of ice cream to choose from. Purple Door Ice Cream provided the tasty treats and we provided the necessary tools to enjoy.
After dessert, it was time to boogie under Anodyne’s moody, filament lamps. Thanks to tunes from Zach Pietrini and the photo-capturing-queen Nikki Kate – we’re certain Luke & Ellen – and their 140 guests – had an incredible night to remember.
